Volunteers of the Week

I came to Food on Foot because I want to help the people I see everyday in large cities like New York and Los Angeles who seem to have fallen by the wayside. It's very easy to feel sorry for an animal and to be motivated to help but when it comes to people, sometimes there is an unwillingness to extend the same spirit of empathy. For me, Food on Foot is an opportunity to help some of my fellow citizens.

I like the kindness that is shown to the people who come - I like the fact that they are asked to participate and to work and that they are given an opportunity to show what they can achieve.
