4 Ways To Volunteer While Social Distancing
Looking for fun volunteer activities for you and your loved ones?
Although our food distribution volunteer events are temporarily postponed, here are 4 ways you and your family can volunteer to help our homeless neighbors while social distancing…
Start Your Own Food on Foot Fundraiser
We’ve made it EASY for you to help our homeless neighbors and graduates while raising donations with the help of your family and friends.
You’ll receive your very own fundraising page along with template emails, social media posts, and strategies on how to reach your fundraising goal. Click HERE to learn more.
Facebook and Go-Fund-Me fundraisers are great too!
Create an inspirational card or drawing*
The COVID-19 crisis can be isolating and scary for our homeless neighbors. Why not brighten their day with a beautiful card or hand-drawn picture.
We’ll place your card in a food bag during one of our Sunday Servings.
Make Hygiene Kits*
Many of our homeless neighbors lack the right hygiene products and resources needed to stay safe and healthy during the COVID-19 crisis.
You can help by making hygiene kits! Fill up 1-gallon ziplock bags with the following travel size items:
- shampoo / conditioner
- toothbrush / toothpaste
- sun screen
- feminine products
- hand sanitizer
You can also purchase hygiene products directly from our Amazon Wishlist HERECreate Homemade Masks*
Create Homemade Masks*
Do you like to sew? Why not create masks for our homeless neighbors?
