Dear Food on Foot Family,
As a nonprofit dedicated to helping our neighbors experiencing homelessness, the health and safety of our homeless participants, volunteers and staff is a top priority.
We are closely monitoring updates by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. Our current goal is to continue helping our unhoused and low-income neighbors while adopting best practices for all involved.
In keeping with the Department of Public Health guidelines, we will not be using volunteers at at this Sunday’s serving. However, we will continue to distribute food with a modified serving, using best practices and only a handful of select help.
We’ll keep you posted on the servings status as it develops.
Clearly, now more than ever our unhoused and low-income neighbors need our help. Food on Foot will continue to provide everything we can, and we’re going to need your steady support in order to be able to accomplish this. If you’re able to donate a little extra this month, it will go to good use. Thank you as always for everything you do!
