Looking for a simple and tax smart way to support Food on Foot? You can make a meaningful gift through your Donor Advised Fund and help people move from homelessness to long term stability through jobs, housing, and life skills.
A Donor Advised Fund, or DAF, is like a charitable savings account. You contribute funds, receive a tax deduction, and then recommend grants to nonprofits you care about.
Already have a DAF? Giving is easy
• Log in to your DAF account
• Search for Food on Foot or use our tax ID 31-1581053
• Choose your gift amount

Your DAF provider sends the donation directly to Food on Foot. No credit card required.
Do not have a DAF yet?
Setting one up is easier than you might think. You can establish a DAF at any one of the numerous financial institutions that offer them – Fidelity, Charles Schwab, or Vanguard to name a few. The process usually takes about 10 to 15 minutes. Most accounts have a minimum opening balance, and you can fund them with cash or appreciated assets such as stock. Once your DAF is funded, you can start recommending grants right away or over time.
