You helped people like T (pictured above). She is a remarkable person from South Central LA who was born with a respiratory illness. She grew up in a home that distrusted medical care, and soon turned to friends on the streets who he could relate to.  T’s struggles led to heartbreaking losses: her job, her car, and eventually her home.

With your help, T was able to enroll in Food on Foot’s Jobs & Housing program. Here, she was welcomed into a community that cared. She was successfully housed in late 2023 and her life has seen significant improvement since.

“The Jobs & Housing program has been such a great resource for me. I’m now employed and housed and I’ve been able to get the help that I need. I’m able to understand my problems and move forward with my life, and I’m grateful for all of you. Thank you so much.”
